Overall good, with very minor issue

Posted by TakaoAkira on 31st Mar 2020

Though its been put together beforehand, some screws are still not as tight. But overall it is still a strong cage, despite each side is only put together with two screws. I'll still prefer a cage with no screws.
And the monitor problem is that with the cage on, the rubber cap on the left side of battery grip is hard to access, especially when you try to charge the grip with the DC-IN cable or monitor the sound via 3.5mm headphone jack. Other than that, feels good in the hand or with the top handle.

    cage is very versatile

Posted by Cordelia on 9th Jun 2018

The cage is very versatile. When I mount Fujifilm X-H1 Camera with battery grip on it, they seem quite compatible with each other. I think what amazes me is its 3 built-in NATO rails for convenience. It is very flexible and supports handheld shooting and run-and-gun shooting. It wins my heart!

I received a sample of the product as a reward

Posted by Yancey on 7th Apr 2018

During the Co-design period, I told the staff of SmallRig this way, “Maybe parts of the bottom could be hollowed for the sake of weight reduction and heat dissipation.” They responded that it was a good idea and later they changed the style according to my advice. What amazed me was that I received a sample of the product as a reward!
