I use this with two John Hejnar converted Manfrotto heads and its sturdy and super practical. Removing the battery without having to take it off is great and also shooting tethered is so easy ( even shooting vertically - you can extend the vertical side using the included screwdriver ). Its so good in fact I've ordered another for my GFX 50S II.
I bought this Smallrig unit because it was about 60% of the price of the unit from Fuji. Smallrig has produced a very well machined unit that checks all the boxes I needed. It is machined to fit an Arca Swiss mount in both vertical and horizontal planes and works perfectly. The workmanship is in every way the same as units costing twice as much. And it affords my Fujifilm GFX100s a high degree of protection whenever I place the body down.
