I bought this cage mainly to give me some girth for my XT-30 to grip to and this cage does just that. It doesn't add a lot of weight and love the tool-less feature with the included flat head key magnetic to the bottom. I also love the arca-swiss design for the bottom and side brackets to allow for seamless on-off operation to my ball head without added plates and weight. Nailed it!
I bought this bracket for using with the X-T30 as I was interested in the Arc-Swiss compatibility and the hand grip... the bracket fits well and feels very solid once it's mounted on the camera... a nice touch is that a screwdriver is mounted to the bracket so you always have the needed tools for adjustment to hand... the only reason for deducting one star is the fact that the Arc Swiss channel does not continue fully on the rear edge... when using a wider clamp, you can't mount it in the center... this is a minor issue but just something to be aware of... so far used this with RRS ballheads / clamps or Gorillapod with no issues
