SmallRig Manfrotto 501PL-Type Quick Release Plate for Select SmallRig Cages APU2458 has an open-middle design so that you can access the camera mounting screw through the plate and you can easily unmount the camera from the cage to move it to a gimbal, tripod, or other mounts to keep production time down. The plate attaches to the bottom of the cage with the two included 1/4"-20 screws and can fit in a standard Manfrotto base, it also compatible with DJI RoninS Gimbal. It’s compatible with 30 cages from SmallRig, such as the BMPCC 4k cage 2203, the Sony A7III cage 2087 as well as the Nikon Z6/Z7 cage 2243. The plate features rubber pads to protect the cage and features anti-off design on the bottom to prevent twisting. The lightweight plate weights only 36g.
Note: The plate is currently compatible with the SmallRig cages as shown in the picture.
