SmallRig Smartphone Sun Hood (Small) VH2689 is designed to provide the smartphone with a sun hood option when using the smartphone as an external camera monitor. The hood helps reduce glare, ensure a clear and bright screen when shooting outdoors or in bright light. It features a 1/4”-20 thread hole underneath to mount a monitor like SmallRig Swivel and Tilt Monitor Mount BSE2294, SmallRig Tilting Monitor Mount with Cold Shoe BSE2431, SmallRig Swivel and Tilt Monitor Mount with Cold Shoe BSE2346, etc. The cold shoe on the top can be used to mount a microphone or an LED light. The patent-pending clamp will be open by pressing the slider at the back and compatible with smartphones with width ranging from 67mm to 71mm including iPhone 8, iPhone X/XS, iPhone 11 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S10 and other smartphones with the similar size. The sun hood is wear-resistant and scratch-resistant. Microfiber cloth inside helps reduce the reflection of light. The leather hood will clip into the clamp conveniently and you can choose whether to use it. The sun hood is foldable and will be stored easily.
