SmallRig Wooden Side Handle for DJI Ronin-S/SC/RS 2/RSC 2 & ZHIYUN CRANE 2S/2/V2 & MOZA Air 2/AirCorss 2 Gimbals BSS2222 is designed to reduce arm fatigue and provide accessory mounts when shooting with your gimbals. This ergonomic handle enables you to hold your gimbals with two hands to reduce the weight stress on one hand. It connects to the bottom of the gimbal via 1/4" -20 or 3/8"-16 screws, or a combination of both. Featuring 1/4”-20, ARRI 3/8”-16 locating holes and integrated cold shoe for accessory attachment, such as Monitor Mount 2905 and 2903. The handle can be configured for right or left hand based on your needs. A flat head screwdriver is included to secure the mounting screw and stores it on the bottom.

Manoeuvring the solid DJI Ronin S had become a lot easier after I started using this product a year ago. The wooden handle enabled me to distribute the weight to both arms rather than just the one.
Although the extended handle adds slightly more volume, it’s cold shoe gives me the options of mounting either my SmallHD Focus Monitor, an LED light panel or microphone to the Ronin S.
Also, when using my Canon EOS M6 or 5D Mark III handheld, I would remove it from my Ronin S and attach it to the Mirrorless or DSLR cameras to serve as a handle. This seems to improve the overall ergonomics and stability especially when shooting video in these formats.
Finally, being a photographer and a visual person in general, I didn’t want a clunky looking cheap addition on the Ronin S. When products look and feel good I’m likely to use them more often, and the sleek wooden finish and feel of this handle not only compliments the Ronin S - but inspires me to take advantage of the cinematic footage I know it’s capable of.

Je suis extrêmement satisfait de cette poignée qui offre une bien meilleure prise en mains que la simple poignée d'origine, probablement pas au point de remplacer un cadre complet "dual handle" mais pour un compromis prix / encombrement / poids / mise en place bien meilleur.
Niveau qualité de fabrication c'est top, on est sur du SmallRig avec les petites astuces ergonomiques bien pensées avec ici un petit outil plat qui vient se loger sous la poignée avec un aimant. La poignée est livrée montée à gauche mais se démonte sans soucis via deux vis et la clef Allen fournie qui va bien pour l'inverser.

Warm to the touch. Immensely helpful with balance. Lots of threads for adding other stuff including a monitor.

Perfect match for my Ronin-S. Will always use this with my ronin to mount my monitor. The wooden grip is comfortable and the overall build is solid.
