The rods on both sides let you go handheld right away. Both rods can be adjusted in height and position around the camera, and one side can even be completely removed if not needed. All camera connections, buttons, dials and the battery door remain fully accessible. Our custom hot shoe pinch connects your camera into one solid piece with the cage. Plenty of 1/4"-20 mounting threads allow for assembly of a full rig to your needs. This cage is very lightweight, and compatible with Canon 80D, 70D, 60D, 50D, 40D, 30D, 6D, 7D, 7D MarkII, 5D MarkII, 5D MarkIII, 5DS, 5DS R, Nikon D7000, D7100, D7200, D300S, D610, DF, Sony A99, and of course almost any medium-sized DSLR on the market. The height of the cheese rods is 145mm, the width of this cage is 196mm.

If you are using a small-sized camera, such as Sony A7/A7s, Panasonic GH3/GH4, Canon 550D, 600D, 700D, please take a look at smallrig camera cage 1630.

Small Rig VersaFrame Camera Cage Canon/Nikon/DSLR 1584

This frame is very sturdy and allows me to mount both my camera and monitor on the frame. I can then attach the entire thing to a horizontal mounting on my Tripod. Great product with lots of options for additional mounting.

    Very solid

Just what I was looking for. It feels very strong, solid and you can adjust as you want. The only thing I think could improve is that the screws for the cold shoe need always a tool to adjusted so it is not that easy for mounting the camera and getting off as you want.

    The height is adjustable.

The height is adjustable. And that is what I like. D Mark IV & Canon 5D Mark III could be used by turns. It is very convenient to adjust the rod clamp and the holding part feels good. What’s more, the price is indeed reasonable. Cool!
