Leila, Aaron, and Harun experienced a great devastation at a young age, witnessing firsthand the Bosnian War of 1992–1995. Mostar, the colorful city of children's dreams, is no longer their playground, but has become a terrifying battlefield.

Now the children of Mostar have grown up and become mothers, fathers and wives. In this story, Leila, Aaron, and Harun strive to rebuild Mostar's hopeful future by shedding the shadow of past wars.

Halil Serhan Köse was born on 6 October 1983 in Van and completed his primary, secondary and high school education in the Adilcevaz district of Bitlis. Serhan has been interested in film and theater since he was a child and came to Istanbul at the age of 19. After several years of performing and dancing with various theater groups in Istanbul, she found it more appropriate to express herself in the field of film. In 2008, he began his film and television education at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dokuz Eylül University, Izmir. While continuing his school life, he began working as an assistant director in the film industry in Istanbul during the summer. Love in Another Language, Carousel is a professional film he worked on as a student. For Tomorrow, Once Upon A Time Mark II (Once Upon A Time Mark 2), the totem film was the short film he directed in the same year. 

After his teaching career, he began working with "Med Production, Ay Production, O3 Production, TMC Film, BKM Production", all of which are well-known production companies in the film industry. He worked as an assistant director in the TV series of these companies. It has been successful in the national and international arenas; He also worked as an assistant director in the film Walnut Tree, Once Upon a Time. With documentary film production support from the Film Fund of the Ministry of Culture, he completed his documentary "Children of Mostar". Halil Serhan Köse, who is active in the film industry, is also working on his own film projects.
