Today we're showing you how to fix overexposed outdoor footage with a magnetic filter set, so you can capture cinematic castle and cherry blossom shots even in bright sunlight.
Ever shot outdoors on a sunny day and ended up with a blown-out sky with zero detail? That happens because the light is too strong and the camera can't compensate on its own.
Three simple steps. First, snap it on magnetically: the filter clicks right onto your Pocket lens — no twisting, no adjusting, ready to shoot in seconds. Second, pick the right strength for the light: use ND16/CPL for partly cloudy days — it cuts exposure and eliminates glare; use ND32 for direct harsh sunlight to bring the highlights down. Third, rotate to fine-tune: twist the CPL polarizer to cut reflections off glass and water for a cleaner, more transparent look.
See the comparison — top shot without the filter: sky blown out to pure white. Bottom shot with the ND filter: castle details and soft pink cherry blossoms all preserved. Same scene, night and day difference.
This filter set works beyond castles and cherry blossoms — street shots, seascapes, backlit portraits, you name it. One set handles every lighting situation.
