Which monopod?

I am a professional automotive photographer. Many of my sessions take place during the golden hours, with my back to the sun. To minimize shadows, I place my Canon R5 on a tripod and use the 3-second delay to give myself time to move my shadow out of the frame. I am inconvenienced by having to loosen/tighten 3 sections on each of the tripod's 3 legs every time I change camera height. Often, I miss tightening one section fully, and when I set the tripod down, it starts leaning to the loose side. I know, I'm picky!

I watched a video on the benefits of the SmallRig Carbon Fiber Monopod #5564. I was drawn to it because it's easy and quick to adjust the height. I bought one on Amazon.

I used it at a photoshoot this past weekend, and I'm not very happy with it. Specifically, once I set the height, the monopod sways for more than 3 seconds...the next delay setting on my Canon R5 is 10 seconds. I accept that this is a monopod and will not be as stable as a tripod. But, Is there another model of the monopod that would provide a more stable base? Or should I move to the Potato Jet tripod?

I only use my R5...and most of the time I use a 40-70 zoom and sometimes a 70-200. I don't need a fluid head, and I already have a very nice ball head.
