Static shots are not Brandon's style

In Grand Central Station he envisions a series of moving shots of a violinist, with lens changes to add different perspectives. Watch him shoot the scene, and see the final results...impressive! Explaining how to hold the gear and change handle positions are essential hints for better results. Getting out into the rain may inhibit some videographers, but not Brandon. He shoots from above or below, moves around the person, and uses the rain and smoke to his advantage-creating a special mood or atmosphere. Having two handles to control the phone provides stability and smooth movements.

While shooting a risky bike jump (lying under where the bike will jump and twist, for a unique perspective), the rider was closer than expected, and the phone flew out of Brandon's hand – luckily, the phone and Brandon were fine (additional protection from the cage didn't hurt!) and the shot was captured. “The phone in the (SmallRig) cage is pretty rugged.”
