    Not just for MetaBones adapters

Posted by Paradise Pictures on 1st Nov 2018

With a spacer between the bottom front face of the cage and this support it can also be used with generic lens adapters to reduce the strain on the mount of non-OEM lenses (in my case an M-mount f1.1 on my Sony E-mount). Can't really say the spacer should be supplied, since I'm sure it works fine with the MetaBones adapter as designed - but as it stands this one fouls the camera's lens mount. Maybe a new product idea for SmallRig? Go to it guys!

The LWS Baseplate fits Sony A6500 camera perfectly. It comes with dual 15mm rod clamps for dual 15mm rods, whereby lens support, follow focus or matte box etc. could be attached. It is uniquely designed and stands out with its excellence and good quality.

just want to give it a thumb-up

Posted by Baldwin on 3rd Apr 2018

It is attached underneath the camera cage and also connects the Metabones lens adapter. It could prevent the poor contact of bayonet and prevent the loss of signals because of the weight of heavy lens. I just want to give it a thumb-up!
