Very happy with this product. Versatile and easy to use. Slim profile enabled me to use it without my time lapse rig rising too much. I would recommend this product
Great quality - allows me to use my Miller Touch 'n' Go system (Compass 25 head) on two different camera bodies and a lightweight shoulder rig - quick swap with all the solid advantages of T'n'Go. A few weeks in, and it's just as good as the Miller. Highly recommended.
The locking lever isn't quite as snappy as the Sachtler stuff I've used, but it still absolutely works. Included plates are lovely, and the whole thing has a great feeling. I bought two, and they integrate perfectly with the old O'Connor 1030 that I'm using.
The touch and go quick release kit could be mounted with camcorder on the top. The rubber cushions on the surface could prevent any accidental scratches. It features quick release and attachment with the locking lever. The design is really customer-oriented and is endowed with great convenience.
Excellent product, finished really well and very robust, the quick release system is really good and functional. I took 2 and I use one on the camera (Sony pmw-300) and the other on a c100, to be able to use both cameras or on a tripod or on the monopod

I found out, when I tape 2 Strips oft Gaffer Tape in the front of my tripod base, the SmallRig Plate works well. So I would have to change my review. :-) And the SmallRig base can adjust tightness using the attached Allen wrench, which is a very good feature!
The SmallRig Plate is not compatible with a Sachtler 16, like the description says. It does not work with a Sachtler tripod head, the camera sits really loose on top of the head, it wobbles and is not tight. Sachtler 16 plates do not fit intothe base of the SmallRig system, you cant close and lock the leaver - its way to tight. There seems to bee a slight issue with the design of the plate - I could not find big differences between the Sachtler and the SmallRig Plate, but i found out - the corners of the Sachtler Plate are a bit smaller and the height is bigger on the SmallRig ones.
If you don't want to swap between Sachtler and SmallRig Plates and Heads, this plate works fine. I bought it because of the Sachtler compatibility -
