Will this work with a 6 in arca plate on a 300mm lens, Nikon Z8 body and smallrig cage?

If the arca plate is standard ARCA-SWISS plate, this it is OK.

will this fit the Sirui VH-10X (in other words replace the BP-90 plate) Thanks

The bottom of this plate is built-in Manfrotto 501 quick release plate, and the upper plate is a standard Arca quick release plate, so it works with Manfrotto 501 quick release and standard Arca plate.

I see the 4234 has a smaller hole beside the 1/4-20 hole. Can I use that for mounting with my Manfrotto 468mgrc0 ball head (with 1/4"-20 and smaller screw approx. 4mm dm)? I fear that the 1/4"-20 isn't enough to keep heavy gear from unscrewing/loosening the mount plate.

Sorry they are not compatible. The threaded hole next to the 1/4 threaded hole of the 4234 pointed by the arrow is M3x0.5 and cannot fit your 4mm diameter screw. Have a nice day!
