Is the 4305 incompatible with the GF 30mm f/5.6 Tilt-Shift lens? If so do you have another recommended product?

Is it possible to use this as part of an overhead rig where the camera lens would be pointed straight down? I don't see it pictured this way. Should I worry about any of the pieces failing with the extra downward pressure on some of the joints that may not have been designed to take that constant stress Or was it designed and tested to hold up to that type of use? Thanks!

The main function of this ring is to switch between horizontal and vertical shooting, so the fixed torque of the lens is still fixed by the lens mount of the camera itself.
