How is the height of the center column adjusted? Is precise, controlled adjustment (comparable to tripods with a hand crank) possible?

The center column features a buckle-locking mechanism. First, unlock the buckle, adjust the center column to the desired height, and then fasten the buckle to lock it in place. The center column height of this tripod is manually extended, not crank-operated. This tripod is an entry-level model and cannot achieve particularly high precision.

Hi! I'm just wondering if it's possible to tighten the latch that adjusts the angle of the leg spread. I didn't see an obvious spot this could be done. Thank you

The angle of the legs of this tripod is adjusted by a lever. After adjusting the angle, the lever must be fastened to lock it in place. The tightness of this lever cannot be adjusted.
