Can you use this cold shoe mount without the 2 smaller screws? I would need to mount a cold shoe attached top handle to a 1/4" but the screw hole doesn't have places for the two smaller screws.

The product can be secured to other accessories by one 1/4"-20 screw. Have a nice day!
