I also wish for a version that locks the legs in extended position. Placing the camera, nudging the camera, any movement of the camera moves the legs and at this point I think I may just return this for a fixed leg. The ability to close and open legs is not as good as the ability to have a flat stable leg.

A fantastic design with a singular flaw. The legs do not lock in the extended position. When the camera is sitting on a surface, any movement of the camera can cause the legs to fold up. Could Smallrig make a version with legs that lock in their extended position? I would buy a few more tomorrow if there were a version with locking legs.

Where can I get another one of the 1/4" -20 extended screws? It seems to be very specific to the plate. My camera cage has only 1/4" connections so the 3/8" screw that came with the Plate is useless.
