Its a perfect fit for my Sony a6500. The design is good and build with high quality metal.
Great product for the price!
The double screws system avoid any motion in the camera, which is pretty awesome. You also don't have to be scared about checking if the main thread get loose as you always have a safety.
I also recommend you take the wooden handle that give such a good holding of the rig (compared to the initial body where I cannot fit my pinky...). I also personally really like how it looks a bit retro :)
It fits the camera perfectly! It creates much convenience, like it could be mounted with NATO handle for handheld shooting but at the same time it doesn’t block the attaching of XLR. The built-in cold shoe could be mounted with magic arm and then monitor, thus I could have a better monitoring while shooting. It is really special and I JUST cannot put in down!
I love this product! Does what it's supposed to do without obstructing anything! Checkout my full thoughts over on my channel youtube.com/FelipeOlvera
I would choose this cage over any other (more or less expensive), just because of it's way of fixing the camera. It is the only cage I've seen that has two screws to fix the camera in place, and it works great. I bought with it the wooden grip that makes it more bulky and fits your hand well. Also I got the Arca quick plate and fixed the plate with two screws and now I my camera is practical and secure. I honestly recommend trying out this product!
I like the cage very much! It matches my Sony a6500. It seems that it is of good quality and it is very durable; it is very convenient for handheld shooting. Apart from providing overall protection for the camera, it could attach microphone and flash lights. In addition, it is compatible with Arca Swiss baseplate. In a word, I am very happy with the cage. My initial aim is to protect my camera with this cage, but it surprises me by providing more functions.
