I've used this numerous times for my XT3 with battery grip when shooting video with a monitor. There's plenty of mounting points for your accessories and it's very lightweight considering it's strength and protection. As mentioned in another review the only negative is that it's pretty hard to move the drive dial once it's in video mode. If you're the type to walk around with a pencil behind your ear you'll have no problem. :)
This cage is of a very high standard it is perfectly moulded to the profile of the camera with numerous mounting points, the only negative I can find is it is difficult to change the drive setting back from Video too stills as there is very little room for you to get your finger in between the cage and dial but otherwise it is an excellent cage and well worth the purchase as it allows for the easy attachement of all your necessary accessories when filming. I have a quick unboxing and overview video here on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AoTM44kwdA&t=33s
