SmallRig Long Lens Carry Handle (Cheese) 1732 is a simple and lightweight handle suitable for any long lens. It attaches to the tripod collar or the top plate of a cage with a 1/4"-20 thumbscrew. The knurled knob is larger than the pad so you can turn it easily. The 63mm sliding slot allows forward and backward adjustment to balance your setup. There is a shoe mount on top of the grip for attaching accessories, such as shoe-mount style video lights, flashes, microphones. In addition, there are 18 x 1/4"-20 accessory holes on the sides. The rubber-coated pad could lessen stress on the screw, and the handle will not turn like it would if it was metal to metal.

At first I doubt this handle would handle my a6500 and my Zhiyun Crane 2 gimbal (If the gimbal were inverted like Ronin M). But because of the rubber padding underneath the handle that creates sort of frictions make it one solid handle to hold my a6500 & my gimbal. I wish the rubber is more ticker & longer so it wont scratch the camera/gimbal.
When I mount it on the long lens for handheld shooting, I find it really convenient. The knurled knob enables easy turning. The sliding slot enables adjustment forward and backward for balance. The designer is great and designs such a great product!
