SmallRig Cold Shoe Relocation Plate for Sony A6100/A6300/A6400 BUC2317 is designed to relocate the camera hot shoe to the right side for microphone with no obstruct the tilt screen on Sony A6400. It locks firmly to the camera’s hot shoe and secures tightly via an m2.5 screw to prevent twisting. The lightweight adapter features rubber pad to prevent the camera from scratches. Besides, it maintains the flashlight of camera access and comes with a strap hole for shoulder strap. It fits the camera perfectly so that you can put it on the camera all the time.

I heard about this relocation plate through photography and video youtube channel. This has allowed me the ability to use the view screen as a monitor while shooting video content and mounting a microphone. The purchase and shipping was extremely quick and easy, allowing me to begin recording my video content without losing any time.
The plate works great. I also purchased the plate for the other side in case I want to mount my microphone over there. All the products that this company makes are Excellent
Functional and fits absolutely perfect. Does not block any function of the camera.
For someone vlogging this is an excellent choice. The build quality is excellent and it does a great job of moving your mic out of the way of the screen. It's light enough to leave on all the time and screwing into the strap connector makes it very stable but you may also be okay leaving the screw out if you need to be able to remove the relocation plate often. I've been using this since my pre-order arrived and have been very happy with it. Excellent price for what it provides as well.
This product is small but it is dynamite. Its so usefull.

It as advertised works well. Would have like to seen a better option for the strap relocation but it works well as is.
