I am building a small rig with an R5 and an Atomos monitor on top, was excited to get something that helped to "stabilize" the TINY (and FAR too easy to damage!) HDMI "Mini" cable/port; but the right angle cable I'm using requires a bit too much depth that this cable clamp simply cannot accommodate. (Specifically the ATOMCAB007) Not the clamps fault though; I'll just have to get a "straight" cable and deal with the cable sticking out the side of the rig. FTR: this adapter adds flanges ~18.5mm from the HDMI port itself, so any right-angled HDMI adapter is going to need to be LONGER than that to fully engage with the HDMI port. The USB port works great and locks onto a USB-C cable perfectly. Only note here is that the "wedges" that are used to "lock" the cables are just anodized aluminum, so if you're using a USB-C cable that is "hard" or "slippery"; the wedge isn't going to have much to grip onto. Recommend wrapping the USB connector body in some electrical or gaffers tape to get the wedge to hold properly if you're having trouble.
