    L-bracket for Lumix G9

This is a great item which protects the camera, allows for portrait and landscape mounting on a tripod and can be used like a cage to mount mic and monitor to. The left side of the bracket extends for HDMI and other access and can be used as a left side handle for stabilization. So glad I purchased this product.

    G9 L Bracket

The quality of construction is first class. Some restriction on the movement of the rear screen when it's installed; but I find it still very usable. First rate design and utility.

This product is the best L Bracket you can get for a Panasonic Lumix G9!
If I could make one suggestion, It would be to have a slot for the Allen Key. If it had that, it would be perfect.
    Awesome product regardless of this

    L Bracket for Lumix G9

Posted by John Allman on 28th Nov 2018

The quality of the build is extremely good. The bracket feels good on the camera and gives your pinky finger a landing spot.

There were no instructions, and I had some difficulty at first figuring out how to get access to the battery compartment. There is a spring loaded release button that you push to the outside to allow the cover to pop up and provide access to the battery compartment. Just not intuitive or labeled.

The major weakness in the design, is that while you can rotate the camera viewing screen, it cannot be positioned 180° to the left for viewing from a high or low angle. The large screw that allows the vertical part of the 'L' to be moved laterally is captive, so that the part cannot be simply removed to allow for full screen articulation. I suspect a minor change in the design could resolve this issue.

Considering this unit was about 1/3 the price of the alternative products, I am reasonably happy with it.

Update: Really thanks for your suggestion, just checked the L bracket with our R&D team, it is common the camera screen can not be rotate 180° due to the L brakcet structure, hope you understand that.

not so bad. A little bit too heavy, not simple to detach the vertical part (it is very difficult to unscrew the sled and you have to disassemble it in two parts). But nice
