Question 1

Does the DJI Osmo Action 3 cage allow for quick switching to vertical shooting?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Our DJI Osmo Action 3 cage (fully compatible with the updated Cage for DJI OSMO Action 5 Pro / 4 / 3) features built-in mounting points on both the bottom and the side. This design allows you to transition from a horizontal camera tripod mount setup to a vertical orientation for social media platforms like TikTok or Instagram in seconds, without having to remove the camera from the cage.

Question 2

Can I access the battery and charging ports while the camera is in the DJI Osmo Action 3 cage?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all our designs prioritize accessibility. When using our DJI Osmo Action 3 cage or the Cage Kit for DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro / 4 / 3, you maintain full access to the battery compartment, USB-C charging port, and all control buttons. You can swap batteries or plug into a power source, like our Grip-Designed Powerbank for Action Cameras, without ever needing to disassemble your rig.

Question 3

Will the Insta360 X4 cage show up in my 360-degree footage?

Accepted Answer

No. We have specifically designed the Insta360 x4 cage to be "invisible" within the camera’s stitching algorithm. The slim profile ensures that the cage remains outside the blind spot of the dual lenses, allowing you to enjoy full 360-degree coverage while benefiting from the mounting expansion for mics and the reinforced camera tripod mount interface.
