will this short out the hot shoe on my Nikon Z6ii?

Under proper and normal usage conditions, it will not short out the hot shoe of camera.

On 'Cold Shoe to 1/4" Threaded Adapter' is the cold shoe removable? I'm not using them to mount a camera. If I take off the cold shoe, is there a screw or female thread that I can use to attach the adapter to something else? Hope that makes sense. Thanking you in advance for your reply.

1. The cold shoe base of this adapter cannot be removed. 2. We have a cold shoe adapter that the cold shoe can be removed, the ID is 2948B. After removing the cold shoe of 2948B, there is a 1/4 threaded hole on the bottom, which can be installed in other places with 1/4 screws.
